Johnny Grimmer is an emcee from Stony Brook, NY. Grimmer first gained recognition as an emcee at Marist College after the release of his remix to Asher Roth’s I Love College titled I Love Marist. After the initial success of Grimmer’s remix he subsequently released two mixtapes as an undergraduate, the first Split Personalities, which embodied his dual role as a student leader and entertainer on campus. Grimmer’s second mixtape, Regular Kids was focused on the fact that we all have the same potential for pursuing our dreams. After the success of Grimmer’s mixtapes he was invited to perform as the opening act for Mike Posner when he performed at Marist’s spring concert. Grimmer is currently working on a series of singles and music videos to be released in late 2023.
